Dear Parents,
Please take note of the following announcements:

1. End of an Era:

It was with a very heavy heart that I had to announce to staff that the Board had decided to close EIS West. Many staff members at EIS West have served this school loyally for many years. Similarly, I know that the news would have been received by parents and pupils with disappointment and sadness. There are many families whose children have very fond memories of their schooling on this beautiful campus.
On a positive note, the Board has taken the decision to consolidate resources and services in a single campus at South-West, from August 2022. As announced last week, Mr Lee Daglish will lead the school and many of the staff from West and South-West will remain, enabling EIS Moscow to continue to deliver the highest level of education. The school will welcome students from Nursery through to Year 13 (ages 3-18) and remain focused on providing the challenge and breadth of education opportunities that you and your children value highly.
Please be advised that the school’s Admissions Team will be in contact with you in the coming days. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us.

2. Sports Day:

Our school’s annual Sports Day was held today, for the very last time. Pupils of the four houses – Bears, Eagles, Tigers and Wolves – thoroughly enjoyed themselves, competing in a variety of novelty races. Everyone also enjoyed a picnic lunch on the playground outside. Thank you to Mr Oleg, our PE teacher, for organising the event and to all staff for their support.

3. Reports:

As announced last week, reports will be emailed to parents on Monday, 27th June. Should you require a printed copy of your child’s report, kindly place a request with his/her class teacher. We will gladly provide you with a printed copy.

4. End-of-term Arrangements:

Final Assembly will be held on Friday, 1st July at which certificates will be awarded to our Stars of the Term and Stars of the Year. Head Teacher Awards will be presented to three deserving pupils, one in each of the school’s sections: Early Years, Key Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2), and Key Stage 2 (Years 3 to 6).
Kindly note that school will close on Friday, 1st July at 1:00 p.m.
