calling a method from a different thread with obj.Dispose()
I'm calling multiple database calls from one method. I ran it in a seperate thread and it ran fine. But when I moved the method to a background worker it was fine for one run. But when I ran it again, the second run of the method gave an error where obj.Dispose() was being called twice (an exception being thrown from each call). It stopped in a finally block as usual.
So I did a bit of debugging to see where the error was coming from and found that each object has its own background thread being used and only one being returned from the RunWorkerAsync() method.
I removed the background thread and it worked fine. But the question is, will the dispose method be called for the first object and throw the exception, but not the last object? Or will the dispose method be called once per object?
So the question is, will all the objects be disposed and only the last one will throw the exception?
