The rules are a little text file that specify the rules. First line is line number. The rest of the lines are the rules, each separated by a space character.
The gui creates the rules and stores them in the database. This is done using the rules list. The gui has two lists: the main list that will contain the rules and the ladd list that will be used for special rules.
Using the ladd button the rules can be added to the regular rules. You can also add special rules (like rules that have macros).
Each rule in the ladd list can be deleted by selecting it and clicking the delete button. This will delete the rule and the RuleEditor will show the rules that were just deleted.
And as the rules that were added to the ladd list are no longer available you can delete them.
When a rules is created, it will be added to the main list. But as you can add these rules also to the ladd list, you can keep them in the ladd list. This is done by selecting the rule in the main list and pressing the ladd button.
To edit a rule, press the edit button. The button will change into a pencil. Now you can change the rules. When you are done, just click the OK button and the changes will be saved.
You can also delete a rule using the pencil button. The deleted rule will then be shown in the ladd list.
