I tried creating a meta package with for example:
name: "my_package"
version: "0.1.0"
And at first I thought this worked but unfortunately this didn't seem to work on the generated.ipa-file. I had to do a lot of research on how to generate a.ipa-file using an.ipa-package generated by a meta-package.
I am generating my.ipa-package like this:
jarsigner -storepass changeit -keystore "my_project/my_keystore" -keypass changeit "my_project.my_package/target/my_package-release.ipa" my_project.my_package/
Which as far as I know should work.
So to sum it up, my questions are:
Why can't I use a meta-package?
What are the possible solutions to generate an.ipa-package using a generated.ipa-package created using a meta-package?

I use an App without a bundle ID and I generate my ipa package in the iOS Target and it works perfectly.
One way that can be done is you can use the same name for your bundle identifier and your project identifier. 
The way that I did it is to firstly create a folder named'my_project' in the root folder of your Xcode project. 
My Xcode project is in the root folder like this:
Now on the'my_project' folder you need to create an empty Xcode project. Then you copy all your project files inside the'my_project' folder. 
To do this, right click on the my_project folder and select 'Show package contents'. You'll get all the files in the'my_project' folder. Copy all those files and paste them into the'my_project' folder inside the root folder.
Now rename your package to something like'my_project.my_package'. As you can see I've renamed my package to something similar to your bundle id. 
Now to generate your.ipa package, you need to create a new.xcodeproj in your project. Inside this new 3125841983
