Step Up Day
On Monday, all students spent the morning in their new classes. They had a fantastic time and came back enthused about next year. The teachers cannot wait for their new classes too and a good time was had by all.
The children had a chance to reflect and ask questions in the afternoon which will hopefully make them feel comfortable, happy and informed about next year.
Thank you to all the teachers for making this a lovely morning for our children, including departing staff who supported incoming staff in supervising the classes. We had presentations, videos and Zooms with new teachers too, which was great!
 
After School Supervision
In these strange times, children have been separated from friends and extended family for prolonged periods, activities we enjoy such as swimming have been cancelled and it has been a stressful year for many families. For this reason, I love to see families staying on the school site after hours so their children can play with friends, parents can chat and catch up and the community can come together in some way when we have been separated for so long.
If you do stay after hours, please supervise your children and take care of the equipment. Some of the school equipment (such as balls and goal posts) have been damaged, gone missing or been misused after hours. Your support would be appreciated.
 
Thank you
I wanted to say a special thank you to all of our families for your support this year. While the class representatives have been amazing in their support, communication and feedback, our wider community have also been fantastic. The messages of support have lifted our teachers in this challenging year and the timely communication when there are things that could be improved has given our children a better experience. I feel lucky to be part of this caring community, thank you!
