Day 3 and the Summit is still going strong with perhaps the most thought-provoking session of all pictured above. These are three young people who are giving us, um, more mature, people advice on how to encourage them to stay in the environmental field, and urging us to pay attention to the young people who are lighting our path in a different, more passionate approach to environmental justice. Top left is Korin Tangtrakul, the sustainability manager for the Sustainable Water Research Lab of Drexel University. Top right is Sabirah Mahmud (she/her) is a 18-year-old Muslim Bangladeshi-American climate and racial justice organizer in Philadelphia. Bottom center is Michael Acquafredda, who recently received his PhD in Ecology & Evolution from Rutgers University, where he studied sustainable aquaculture at the Haskin Shellfish Research Laboratory.
