I am developing a mobile application. As part of it, the users will able to install our application (from our application) through mobile app store and post the updated data to our website (using REST api).
The first step is installing our app from our application and posting data using rest api. In future there will be scenario, where user will install our app from play store.
As I read the Apple support Docs, I am not able to understand, what will happen when user will install app from android play store.
Can we change app id for android version of our app?
What would be the impact of it?
I am not sure if this is the right place for this question, but I've googled for the solution and couldn't find any solid answer.
I use a 3g modem to connect to a "server" in my office. It has a fixed IP address and gets internet via a gateway.
My IP address changes every time I reboot the modem. 
I'd like to have my mobile devices connect to this server at a given ip address. I'm having a hard time doing this with a "mobile internet gateway". 
Most of the "g" gateway sites I can find say I need to change the IP address of the modem. But this causes a change of IP whenever the modem is rebooted, so I'm having problems to get this working.
Can someone help me out with this?
If I'm adding new certificates to a CA that I own and use on computers in my network, do I also need to add the certificates (in some form) to a "trusted root" on the mobile device. I'm trying to make the device trust the certificate in the CA, but the device wants to only trust the root certificates that are pre-installed.
