D3dcompiler 43.dll Is Missing Assassins Creed 3
1. Go to Start Menu -> Programs -> Ubisoft Games -> Assassin's Creed III Remastered -> Properties -> Manifest Tab -> Select "D3D11.dll" -> Click "Apply"
2. Go to Start Menu -> Programs -> Ubisoft Games -> Assassin's Creed III Remastered -> Properties -> Manifest Tab -> Select "D3Dcompiler_43.dll" -> Click "Apply"
3. Go to Start Menu -> Programs -> Assassin's Creed III Remastered -> Settings -> Display Tab -> Select "Set to software rendering"
4. Go to Start Menu -> Programs -> Assassin's Creed III Remastered -> Settings -> Resolution Tab -> Select "Set to DirectX 9.0c"
5. Reboot the computer
6. Finally open up Assassin's Creed III Remastered and close and reopen the game, this time it should load.
**Note:** If the game still has a missing d3dcompiler_43.dll error, see **#2.**
## I get a "unable to find file" error when I try to install the game on my computer
There are a few reasons this error could occur, but it's likely that you've already tried them.
  * Make sure you're using the correct version of.NET framework. The PC version of Assassin's Creed III Remastered requires version 4.6 of the.NET framework. See [Installing the.NET Framework](#installing-the-net-framework) for more information.  
  * To troubleshoot this error, try installing your game on a different system.
  * Try a different disk or download.
## I get a "bad header checksum" error when I try to install the game on my computer
This error is fairly common with Ubisoft games. One of the common reasons this error occurs is if you have old drivers installed on your computer. If that's the case, you'll need to go into Windows Update and uninstall all old drivers, then reboot your computer.  
When you're able to boot into Windows again, Ubisoft should be able to install the game without any problems. If the game still reports the same "bad header checksum" error, try cleaning your PC with [CCleaner](
