Dear Parents,
At the end of a very busy week, I would like to bring the following to your attention:

US Dental Care:

Representatives from US Dental Care in Moscow visited our school on Thursday to demonstrate to pupils how to take good care of their teeth. Pupils took great pleasure in brushing the teeth of a crocodile. Pupils were reminded to brush their teeth, using downward strokes and not sidewards. We look forward to seeing all our pupils with healthy smiles!

Student Council Christmas Charity Appeal:

As you know, our school considers it very important to help other people less fortunate than ourselves. Next week, you will receive from our Student Council a letter, giving you details about the launch of a Christmas Charity Appeal. Kindly look out for the letter and give our Student Council the support they deserve.

Virtual Council of International School’s Visit:

Please be reminded that the Council of International Schools (CIS) evaluation team will conduct a virtual 5-day visit next week from 22nd to 26th November. As I pointed out last week, the CIS team will observe how we achieve our school’s vision to ensure that pupils feel safe, happy and challenged. In addition to holding virtual meetings with board members, school leadership, academic and administration staff, the CIS team will meet with the Student Council and parent representatives.

Afternoon Activity Clubs:

Kindly note that club activities will not take place during the week, 22nd to 26th November, due to the visit of the Council of International Schools evaluation team. Club activity will resume the following week.

School Uniform:

Thank you to many parents who have purchased items of uniform. We would like all our pupils to be appropriately dressed in school uniform. Please be reminded that we have on sale at school green and white polo shirts, and green fleece jackets. If your child needs one or more of these items of uniform, kindly contact Lena Annushkina in the school office.
