Incoming 7th Grade Students
* All incoming 7th grade students will have to reset their password the first time they log onto their chromebook during the new school year. You should be able to use your password from 6th grade to access your account on your chromebook. You will need to access the EGUSD Classlink Portal (http://portal.egusd.net) or an EGUSD Desktop Computer to change your password.

Current 8th Grade Students
* You will use the same password from the previous school year. If your password is not working, please let your classroom teacher know or contact EGUSD Technology Support at (916) 686-0245. They are available Mon - Fri during the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

New Students to Elk Grove Unified School District (7th - 12th Grade Students)
* If you are NEW to Elk Grove School District, your password will be set to the EGUSD default student password script. (You can find the default student password script linked below.) You will need to access the EGUSD Classlink Portal (http://portal.egusd.net) or log onto an EGUSD Desktop Computer to change your password. Please refer to the directions on how to change your default password linked on this website.

Having Issues With Your Password?
1) Please make sure to READ the helpful password information linked below. You can also watch the Password Help Videos above to help answer general password questions.

2) If you are in CLASS, please let your teacher know and he/she can assist with resetting your password. If you are on CAMPUS, you may also stop by the library and a library staff can assist you with resetting your password.

3) If you are HOME, please contact EGUSD Technology Support at STUSUPPORT@EGUSD.NET or call them at (916) 686-0245 during the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m..
