Ductile; the atoms within the metal have similar atomic radius, and can therefore roll over and alongside each other within the metal lattice. Therefore, the metal can be bent and drawn into different positions while the metallic bond remains intact.
High melting points, due to the metallic bonding that occurs by delocalized d electrons, so there are more shared electrons. Intermolecular forces are stronger & thus it requires more energy to overcome those forces and melt the metals.
Hard, durable, high tensile strength; due to metallic bonding between atoms, as electrons move freely within the orbitals themselves, so they are delocalized. The strength derives from the strong attraction between the positively charge nuclei and the delocalized electrons.
