Story
While inspecting a dam in the village, . Rajinikanth met a tribal girl called Nalini (Sinha). Nalini was visiting her friend to whom she had lost her son. First week: Rajinikanth and Nalini go to hospital to visit their baby. Mangala makes Rajinikanth sing a song for his baby to give him a good start in life. He washes his face and hands and goes to a neighbor's house to get the baby’s sandal to put it on. A man shouts at him, and he drops the sandal. It falls in front of Nalini, who is busy with her child. She picks it up. They return to Rajinikanth's house, where Rajinikanth hands over the sandal to Mangala. He takes it to the nearest village, and the story starts.
Second Week: Nalini is not able to walk and take care of her baby. She must sleep outside. She sees a policeman going to the dam. She knows that this policeman will get arrested and lose his job. She thinks that it's better to get arrested. But she has a hard time to get
