As you select each file, a short summary of the selected file attributes will be shown as a small text box at the right side of the main tool window. As you change these attributes, you will see the text box appear or disappear and the attributes will be instantly updated.
You can also give a preset time (12:30PM for example) and when any of the attributes changes, the newly configured value will be overwritten by the preset value.
The result is that you can change a selected file's attributes in one operation. It can be achieved in the shortest time possible.
The program will rename your files either by automatically renaming any existing files in the same directory with the same pattern or it will use an atomic copy-move operation. The program will even switch between operations if you change the operation settings, which means that you can change the operation type (create or replace) and set the operation's parameters at any time, even if the operation is in progress.
If you need more attributes, you can use the "Advanced Options" tool window to expand the operation settings.
The program will run in the background. It will pause if you pause Explorer, and it will continue any operation when you continue Explorer.
There are two other things you need to know. You can drag and drop a file/directory from any other program like notepad or WinRAR and add it to the list of selected files. You can select multiple files and then drag and drop them all

Your files will be renamed sequentially by appending a numerical suffix. The sequence may start at any number.
Rename

Rename lets you change file names in batches. The common operand for the mask is *.x. The mask defines the source and destination of the renaming. The operand will be interpreted as a wildcard pattern. Wildcards are typically used to match a set of file names. In OrdiTouch, wildcards are used to access files, folders and files in the directory tree. For instance, dir /x means (...x...) will access all files and folders in the current directory.
> Wildcard patterns are converted to a tree structure. Files and directories are listed and then a subdirectory is created for each matching item. For example, dir /x/*.* will list all files and folders and a subdirectory for each file.
To start a rename in a sequential or incremental way, drag one or more files from Explorer into the OrdiTouch window to specify the source and destination. You may also specify the beginning of the sequence. With a mouse click on any file, the current sequence will be started.  You may rename any number of files in a sequence. You can also change the selection of files by changing the mask. The masks are described below.
The enter valid date/time is used to change the date, time and attributes of the files.
