PDNorth represents the northern PENs covering 3 regional areas: Northwest, Northeast & Cumbria and Yorkshire & Humberside. Each region has a regional lead (RL).
Our model this year was 2 meetings (rather than the 4 we had in previous years) with inter-meeting support from our regional leads. We initially encouraged the group leads from each exchange to take charge of their networks and organise meetings between the first meeting at the beginning of the year and last at the end. However, we found that practitioners didn't have the time for these kind of responsibilities and commitment, and so removed that part of the model early on.
Our team shrank a little this year in order to slim down our approach:
x1 creative director (PEN lead)
x1 network meeting co-ordinator
x1 events lead
x3 regional leads
x1 online lead
Our PDNorth team are like family though so the other members of the team from previous years were never far away!
