Dear Parents,
Pupils and teachers were delighted to return to school on Monday, just in time for the first snowfall of winter. We look forward to a very short, but busy second half-term. I would like to bring the following to your attention:
Infection Prevention Measures:
As you know, the mayor of Moscow recently announced strict measures in an attempt to limit the spread of the pandemic. Our school’s senior leadership team also has had to take firm action to support these measures. We appeal to every family to support the school during these challenging times. If your child is unwell, kindly consult your medical practitioner and inform Nurse Irina and me.
Virtual Council of International School’s Visit:
In order to qualify for Council of International School (CIS) accreditation, our school will undergo a virtual 5-day visit by an evaluation team from 22nd to 26th November. During this time, the CIS team will observe how we achieve our school’s vision to ensure that pupils feel safe, happy and challenged. The CIS team will also conduct virtual meetings with various role players within our school community: pupils, parents, teachers, administrative support staff and board members.
Kindly note that club activities will not take place during the week, 22nd to 26th November, but will resume the following week.
School Uniform:
The school has taken delivery of green and white polo shirts, and green fleece jackets. If your child needs one or more of these items of uniform, kindly contact Lena Annushkina in the school office.
Unfortunately, no new house t-shirts in green, yellow, blue or red have been delivered. As soon as new stock arrives, we will inform you.
