This week has included exciting interactive activities across all the learning areas of the Early Year’s curriculum.
Science week has been an enjoyable extension to our curriculum this week. We have joined together with Year One to demonstrate our chosen balloon experiment, which we show-cased to the parents at our Science Fair.
We have completed our revision of the first phase of the Jolly Phonics Programme. Through pictures, stories and rhymes, the children have enjoyed learning songs, actions matching the sounds that have been consolidated. They are ready for more extension in this area next term.
The fun and great pleasure experienced by the children is evident in the gorgeous Easter crafts they have made this week. Early Years were particularly excited about the Easter egg hunt. They found many eggs to contribute to the points accumulated by their respective houses. 
Number recognition and counting included lots of bunny hops, jumping, clapping and skipping.
We wish all our families a sunny, restful half-term. We look forward to an engaging fun-filled final Summer Term.
