To change the default lock screen password on Windows 10 you need to download Win10LockReplacement, which is available from its official website, and install it. Simply, download the latest version and run the executable, which automatically launches the tool and presents a simple window where users can change the password for the lock screen. After you enter the required details, you can switch to different options as mentioned below.
1. Lock screen system password:
This is the main purpose of the app, which enables users to change the system's own lock screen password and even change the current version if there is any. To access this feature, click on the drop-down icon, and then select the option for "Lock screen system password". A windows pops up, where users can enter the needed information and change it at will.
This is the window where the standard options are made available for the user to change his system's own lock screen password. Microsoft has released a new update for Windows 10 Mobile that brings the latest version of the OS to devices like the Lumia 830, Lumia 650 and Lumia 550. The new version will include features that allow users to complete their work in the background while pausing them, and for developers to be able to use the new Universal Windows Platform.
