They begin the adventure by visiting the Arctic. After that, the duo makes their way to South America. During the journey, Crash faces giant monsters and giant enemies. Despite having a lot of action-packed sequences and a large number of enemies, the gameplay is very challenging because of the various traps and puzzles that appear in the game. The gameplay is similar to that of Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, and so is the plot.
