As a programmer, when you receive a Project Description or Storyboard, you are given the opportunity to design a solution to a specific problem. This approach is good in order to make sure that any client/customer will get the solution he wants and likes the most.

I receive projects that are not as structured or designed as I would want them to be. In that case, it is important to make a detailed plan on the steps that are going to follow so you can make sure you get what you really want to achieve and the rest is just for the fun of it.
It is a very important point to keep in mind:
You are not the owner of the project or product. You have to respect it as such.
The first thing I did was to design the solution in front of me.
Here, you can see the form that is needed to be completed and the system that is going to be used to do so.
Also, I highlighted all the columns that are going to be used to complete the form. I made sure to always use a common folder for the stories and the form.
The final step for me was to put the solution on my whiteboard.
Now, it is important to make sure you know how your solution will work and what kind of problems you might face in the future.
Remember that the idea is to work out the front end and design the back end as well.
Often, we have to make sure to know how the different pages and screens are going to function.
For example, we have a solution that depends on a form that is made up of different columns.
In this case, I would go ahead and make a page for each one of the columns in order to make sure that the columns are formed correctly.
Just be aware that you cannot start designing for a client unless you are sure that you can deliver.
