How to send data asynchronously in AngularJS
I need to send data via $http.post call. I do it synchronously, but the data is too large. It is possible to do it asynchronously, but I do not know how to do it.
A:
You can do it using $q. Define the service:
angular.module('myApp', [])
 .service('myService', function ($q) {
    var service = {
      $http: function (url, data) {
        var defer = $q.defer();
        $http.post(url, data).then(function (response) {
          defer.resolve(response.data);
        }, function (error) {
          defer.resolve(error);
        });
        return defer.promise;
      }
    };
    return service;
  });
And then inject it in the controller:
angular.module('myApp', [])
 .controller('MainCtrl', function ($scope, myService) {
    $scope.items = ['one', 'two', 'three'];
    myService.$http.get('').then(function (response) {
      $scope.items = response;
    });
  });

Note that we have 2 services: $http and $q. Service $http requires the dependency injection of $http service (which is not the case when calling $http directly). Service $q will delay the execution of the next line of code until the callback is resolved.
