I need to install this screen mate on my windows 10, but I get a message that there is a problem, I have tried everything but it isn't working. I tried to install over the top of the existing screen mate, and I tried to delete both and try again, but I can't get rid of the error message. Any ideas?

Hi there.
It is working fine on Win 10. But I have few problems.
First of all, when I click on the desktop, the 'floating alien' does not appear. Second, I cannot move it as it does not appear on the screen edges. Third, the color changes are not showing up. I thought to just download and run the file.
I have tried it on Win 7 and did not have such problems. I will try it again on a different PC (this time with a Win 10 ISO on it). Thanks again.

After the latest update, the installer removed itself and now will not install on either of my two laptops. Any advice?Q:
Checking input value on blur
I'm trying to check my input value after I typed something in it, but it's not working, I can't seem to figure out what's wrong.
I tried to re-write the submit button's function to check if the input has a value, and then return false if it doesn't, and then it seems to work, but I don't know why.

The AnimatedAlien ScreenMate changes the screen and desktop wallpaper every 2 seconds and randomly changes the directions in which the eye balls float. There are approximately 35 animated eye balls that move around your desktop. AnimatedAlien ScreenMate changes the colors, speeds and directions at random time intervals to create a visual effect.
If you have:
- A mouse
- A computer
- An internet connection
then AnimatedAlien ScreenMate can bring some fun to your computer and desktop.
You can click on the head of the animated eye ball to set a different wallpaper. When you click on the head of the animated eye balls, it will change to a previously saved desktop wallpaper. When the eye balls are set to a specific screen wallpaper, the eye balls will fly over the desktop towards the specific screen wallpaper. You can click anywhere on the screen to return to the desktop. When the eye balls enter the area of the screen that has been set as the desktop wallpaper, it will continue to animate in this area and change direction continuously until it reaches the edge of the desktop. The design and animation of AnimatedAlien ScreenMate is similar to the traditional shapeshifter.

"My first reaction when I saw the screen shape changer was 'Movin' -- I had to check whether it would actually animate, and if so I wondered what I was going to do with it. Well, it does animate, and I decided I would set it to be the background of my Windows taskbar. The idea of that little blue box with four little blue circles floating around my desktop was so colorful, and so the concept for the animated alien. After the first change I knew that this was something quite different, and that I would have to put it on my website.
Initially it took me one night to sketch out the Alien, animate him, and get him to behave so I could use him on my website. There's a lot to animate in the eyes and mouth, and I found that animated sprites are better than changing frames of an animated gif. Later I created some mockups with the head turned to various angles, which were essential in getting the idea for head positions in different directions, and the rest is history."
Animations:
Frame by frame animation. There are 35 random animations for the eye balls. You can also draw the shape of an animation on an image, and then choose to animate it.
