Filters real-time (mono) audio like one directly from a microphone or via a line-in source, while improving the signal quality of the original signal. The filtering is done on all (mutable) input channels simultaneously, meaning that any source that was audio or digital will benefit.
Tweak the filter settings (highpass/lowpass slopes, center frequency, number of poles), add effects or put on delay, all at once or step-by-step. Switch between and combine the filter types VQ, HPF, LPF and VHPF modes as well as between single and multiple input devices.
The filter is for SMP/HT systems. It automatically switches to thread-based processing if any of the input devices have an active mixer or a mixer's input signal is active.
MSharpen supports up to two input devices. Each device has its own set of controls to tweak the filter's parameters and effects.
You can bring in an effect chain, based on default plugin effects, into the session and chain the effects to the MSharpen filter.

- By setting the 'Effect Volume' slider you can adjust the volume of the filter while it is used as an effect.

- By setting the 'Main Volume' slider you can control the volume of the actual audio signal.
