Thanks to Masahiro Asano, aka @mfasano, for making this.
For some reason, I decided to make this app, but it needs a little TLC to remove some bugs.
First off, the setup was a little bit bad. Some English strings were missing in the main menu. (Read the comments for a solution.)
Secondly, the animation was not smooth while closing the app. It was something like this when I quit it:
Well, anyways, I used my new machine to recompile the app.
I ran the app while someone was using it and the following happened:
- The mouse cursor would flicker rapidly.
- The app would freeze up and become completely black.
Now, even though I am a programmer, I am not very skilled at fixing bugs, but I did manage to find the problem with these:
- The app uses the OpenGL library, which isn't required.
- I used to use the QT libary. Well, I modified the app to use the Cocoa libary, and I modified the libaries in the configure.ac file to use the Cocoa libary as well.
However, I should point out that I'm not sure why my old machine was fine. I mean, it was a PPC machine, but the libaries may have been for the intel architecture instead.
