Input Delay
-----------
This feature was previously available on Mac only. We have added it to PC and Mac. If you haven't tried this feature before, we encourage you to see how it works. There are two modes you can use:
- *Delayed Input* - inputs occur 4 seconds after the last input.
- *Staggered Input* - inputs occur 1 second after each other.
Adjusting the Delay
--------------------
We recommend the following range of delays (in milliseconds) to use with the two input modes (in *Delayed Input*):
- Delay to delay input by: 20-80
- Delay between staggered inputs: 30-160
But you can adjust these for your own personal preference.
Using Delayed Input
- After pressing *Space*, you will see the input text bar appear. It will be greyed out at first. Press the arrow keys to place the input in the desired field.
- Once the input text bar appears, you will see two numbers at the bottom of the screen. These are your input delay settings. You may set the delay to match your preferences, or for both modes, set the delay to 50.
You can change the input mode by pressing *F4*. Note that you will only be able to change the delay settings if you have not used the pre-launch fix to increase the input delay.
You can change the input mode back to the default one by pressing *F5*.
Using Staggered Input
---------------------
- Pressing *Space* will cause the input text bar to appear.
- After you have placed your first input, the bar will turn green and the next input will appear.
- After the next input has been placed, the bar will turn blue and the next input will appear.
- You can use the arrow keys to place the next input.
