Create a quiz

You can build quizzes using varying question types. Quizzes can even randomly select questions from a question pool or shuffle the order of the questions.

Head to your course and in the content, area select Create New > Quiz. You can also create your quiz by going to Assessment > Quizzes > New Quiz.

Fill in the quiz details

Enter a name for the quiz.
You can choose for the assignment to be graded or ungraded. For graded quizzes enter the number of points. 
Select whether the quiz goes into the gradebook by clicking the drop-down menu. This can link to an existing grade item or create a new grade item. 
Enter a due date.
Enter a description or instructions. 
If you don't want to add any advanced settings make the assignment Visible and select Save and Close.
