The entire air show, including the U.S. Air Force Thunderbird and the U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Team, takes place in front of the famous Atlantic City Boardwalk. Free to the public, the air show celebrates the 100th anniversary of powered flight.

"Bogata is excited to participate in the 100th anniversary of its powered flight," said Larry Mullen, vice president of marketing at the Bogata Hotel Casino & Spa. "To be able to create this amazing event on top of the world-famous Atlantic City Boardwalk and promote our new addition to the Boyd Gaming property line is an achievement in itself."

Celebrating their 50th anniversary in 2003, the famous U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds will show off their creative formations on the boardwalk and speed and accuracy on their signature F-16 combat Falcon, from end to end. For classic war bird enthusiasts, the heralded P-51 Mustang, one of the best fighter jets of World War II, will show great combat capabilities.

"To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the powered flight, the men and women of the 177th Fighter Wing would like to express their appreciation for the outstanding support given by the surrounding community since we were mobilized to support Operation Noble Eagle and the fight against global terrorism," said Colonel Michael Cosby, commander of the 177th Fighter Wing. "A better way to show that appreciation would be to host a free air show on beautiful beaches in Atlantic City."

"The 100th Anniversary of Power Flying, the Atlantic City, is the first major aviation show in Atlantic City in more than a decade and the first aviation show along the boardwalk in well over 50 years," said Mayor Lorenzo Langford.
