Dear Parents,
Thank you to the many parents who accepted our invitation to meet with your child’s class teacher to discuss his/her achievements and progress in the first half-term, and targets for the send half-term. Be assured teachers are very mindful of the important role you play in your child’s education. We are willing to meet at another mutually-convenient time, if you were unable to meet with your child’s teacher this week.
Next week, on Thursday, 21st October, we will be celebrating Halloween. Pupils are invited to bring their decorated Halloween pumpkins to school on Thursday morning and to come dressed in suitable Halloween costumes. In addition to other activities, a Halloween costume parade will be held during the day. The school photographer has been invited to take photographs of the event. Unfortunately, due to Covid infection prevention measures, we are unable to invite parents to join us on the day.
Please be advised that the last day for pupils next week will be Thursday, 21st October. School will close on Thursday at the usual staggered times:

Nursery - 15:00
Reception - 15:00
Year 1 - 15:10
Year 2 - 15:10
Year 3 - 15:20
Year 4 - 15:20
Year 5 - 15:25
Year 6 - 15:25

Teachers will be at school on Friday, 22nd October for training, but no lessons will be offered on that day.
School will re-open on Monday, 1st November.
