☀️ LN Juggernaut is a messaging application based on the Lightning Network (LND) that is intended to be a decentralized & real-time messaging platform. It's the best decentralization messaging platform available.
☀️ The application makes use of the Lightning Network technology to connect Lightning nodes, which enable end-to-end encrypted messages.
☀️ The app also uses the Lightning Network as a payment gateway for routing fees.
☀️ The users of the application can send messages to each other, as well as perform crypto transactions.
☀️ The application is powered by algorithms developed by P2P Foundation & its team.
☀️ Lightning Network requires a user to have a lightning node, which means in order to be a part of LN network, a user has to have a seed of LN and participate in network validation process.
☀️ Lighting channels are also required to pay certain routing fees for the messages to be routed to the recipient.
☀️ This app connects and maintains the Lightning channels between the channels.
☀️ Messages are routed to the recipients via these channels.

Hey, welcome to LN Juggernaut. We are an open-source experiment to see what could be possible with the Lightning Network (LND), building something that is similar to whatsapp, facebook messenger, telegram, and bitmessage. We are a project build off of LND by Adam Levine (who was kind of us). Unlike LND, ours is also a messaging application so this is the main difference. Although, LND can be used to transfer funds to people so you can use our web version to send and receive from friends. The app is build by a team of programmers, designers, and developers.
What you need to get started using LN Juggernaut
1. Be using a LND node
We want you to have your own LND node to have your own channel to be able to transfer funds to you. You can get a LND node from any of the nodes listed on lnd.community. See here or [url removed, login to view] for more information.
2. Have a Lightning Payment Channel open
Once you have a LND node you will need to have a Lightning payment channel open to receive payments from people so they can pay their channels.
3. Know how to route a transaction
A Lightning transaction is opened by putting your channel number on the from field. Once you do that, you can view it on your LND node along with information on the participants and where the payment is going. This is done so people can see which channel the payment is going to. This is a different way of opening a Lightning channel since it is done on a one-time basis. Once you are done routing the payment, you will need to get rid of the channel so you don't eat up your routing fee. To get rid of the channel, you simply input the id of the channel into the channel drop box on the left of your screen and the channel will be closed.
