"I just don't see the point of putting a delay on a delay!
The sound is dry and shrill, I mean, why not just use the delay on its own, there are so many delay plugins and all of them sound exactly the same, it just doesn't add anything.
So that is where the beautiful ODE comes into play, it uses the delay as a feedback, so you really do get the delay sound on the delay itself!
The delay itself is made up of 3 parts:
1. Signal generator
2. Digital delay
3. Sound tail (the bit that makes it sound like a delayed sound)
The first thing you want to do is to find a sound that works well with the delay, I recommend starting with the feedback in general, once you get that working you can use it for any other effects and it will sound great.
Then put a dry delay on it and you're done, you should add more feedback controls if you want more control over the delay.
The plugins settings is pretty much self explanatory, there are controls for the feedback and the digital delay.
I found it to be pretty easy to set the feedback up by hand, but if you don't know anything about the delay the plugin does the hard work for you.
So if you want to play around with the feedback and you don't want to mess with the delay this plugin is perfect.
On the downside it can take up a lot of memory."

The South Australian government has released a tender calling for experts to prepare a feasibility study to develop a new coal-fired power station at Nive Dam near the Eyre Peninsula.
The government says the exercise would result in a "massively scaled-up" power station in Darwin.
The feasibility study is intended to take six months and cost a total of $3.26 million.
Acting Premier Wade Noonan said the project was "a critical part of the state's efforts to reduce its emissions of greenhouse gases".
Mr Noonan said the state government was considering either integrating the renewable energy components or mining coal to provide its own source of energy.
He said there was also talk of the state government building its own coal-fired power station.
"It's a good idea but it's a big idea, probably more of a political statement than anything else," he said.
"This is a project that will need to proceed very carefully."
Mr Noonan said the major issue was how the existing electrical grid would cope with a new plant.
He said the plant would power several regions, including Darwin and Adelaide, and would provide the state's largest source of power.
But he said there was some concern in the community about the safety of such a large facility.
Mr Noonan said the government had had an "excellent" discussions with the industry about the project.
"We have a dialogue with the industry," he said.
"We're very frank with them and we always do listen, and I'm very pleased with that response."
He said the project had the support of most of the state's stakeholders.
