The patty is first stuffed with cheddar and then smoked hot dog, sausages, and relish. Its then wrapped in a half-sour pickle and loaded onto a bun. It was created by the US television network Food Network and they won the Top Selling Food Products category at the 2010 Food Network Canada Eat Out/Cook Out Canadian Food Awards for the promotion in Canada.

The Food Truck Challenge is a wide-ranging time-trial that has three stages:
1. The First Stage: 1.5 miles - half a mile of uphill, half a mile downhill. In this stage you eat five different flavored hot dogs and sausages with Cheese Fries.
2. The Second Stage: 2.5 miles - half a mile of uphill, half a mile downhill. In this stage you eat fifteen different flavored hot dogs and sausages with Cheese Fries.
3. The Final Stage: 5 miles - uphill, downhill. In this stage you eat a traditional hot dog and sausage on a bun with pickle and mustard.
During the First Stage you must eat five different flavored hot dogs and sausages with Cheese Fries and choose one of the following flavors:
Red.
Green.
Blue.
Amber.
Yellow.
During the Second Stage you must eat fifteen different flavored hot dogs and sausages with Cheese Fries and choose one of the following flavors:
