CIS Virtual Visit
One of the major events we have coming up in the second half of the term is our CIS Accreditation Virtual Visit. Prior to the visit the school is asked to submit several videos.  This week, myself and Mr Barker had the pleasure of visiting every classroom in the school on Tuesday morning, to film our learning spaces and give the evaluators a tour of the school. It was wonderful to see the wide range of different things that are taking place during just one lesson at Britannica.  Thank you to all of the students and staff for making us so welcome.  Over the next two weeks, we will also be filming some lessons and preparing a health, safety and safeguarding video showing all our procedures. A reminder that the visit takes place from the 9th to the 12th of November and takes the form of meetings with various panels of staff and students plus live streaming of lessons to watching evaluators in Saudi Arabia, Russia and Turkey simultaneously.  Yet another incredible advance in our use of technology in 2020!
