What happened to the designs for the X-Wing and Y-Wing?
Star Wars: Rogue One featured X-Wing and Y-Wing designs that had been featured in Star Wars: Rogue Squadron 2. 
However, in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, we see completely different designs for X-Wing and Y-Wing:
Are these any of these ships, and if so, what happened to the designs that they were based off of?
They’re from Rogue Squadron 2: Rogue Leader.
They look the same as the Rogue One designs:

The Rogue One and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story X-Wings were reused designs. The original X-Wing design from Rogue Squadron was taken from the rough design, which was meant to be used for the Rebel flagship. However, it was never made (or reused) in Rebels, and we don't know why it was scrapped, other than it being too small to act as a Rebel flagship.
The Y-Wing, however, was a design that was meant to be the Rebel fighter/bomber.
