BASM Features:
- Instructions can be stored in any format of Mano's Basic: Memory or disk.
- Programs do not have to be stored in a separate file: They are created directly at the console.
- BASM uses the typical architectures of a BASIC Machine to make your programs easier to understand.
- With the present version, you can edit programs in MANO Editor, and the results are instantly displayed in an output window.
- The editor includes a textbox and it can be filled by any text.
- Hints for Mano Basic are displayed (e.g. "POP eax", meaning push the address of the eax register onto the stack).
- The debugger can be used with any BASIC Machine.

ABOUT
An ancient civilization ruled the
world, but that ended a few hundred years
ago. Nobody knows exactly how it happened,
as no traces of ancient people's life has
been found. Thanks to the screen savers,
some traces of their stories have been
found. The screen savers are an application
that plays a static picture in the past.
After using it many times, the picture
you are watching gets longer and longer.
After some time, your screen saver ends
up being different than the one that has
been used before. After that you have to
wait for the next time that you use your
screen saver.
Once you have used your screen saver
again, you have to start all over again.
That is what will happen to the story
you have just read. All characters,
signals, music, etc., are written in
Mano Basic, so you need to learn this
language to control this application.
All help messages are added in the game.
By press ing Ctrl+Enter you can save
changes.
STORY
A girl wearing some clothes is seated

BASM is actually a command based assembler which allows you to assemble files in the same
way as you would do it manually.
BASM provides a set of command line options to make it easy to assemble C and BASIC
code. You can also specify a memory map so you have full control over how the program is
assembled into your BASIC program.
BASM will assemble code into a relocatable file, which means that in one piece you can
edit parts of your code, and then be able to assemble the file again. All this while staying
in BASM.
BASM provides a TurboPascal like interface for editing your code.
BASM Features:
BASM is a command line based assembler. BASM will assemble code as you type, and will
perform pretty much all the tasks a standard assembler does. BASM will interpret your code
as it is typed, thus getting rid of the need for an interface.
BASM comes with a debugging interface. This way you can assemble your code and step
through it in real-time.
BASM will produce "*.bas" relocatable files that contain all the linker information
you need. In this way you can edit parts of the code easily. The linker also allows you
to build multiple versions of a single file at once.
BASM runs under DOS, Windows, or Macintosh.
BASM has support for both Borland and Microsoft's compilers, and therefore supports
Mano's BASIC language.
In addition BASM supports other popular languages like C, COBOL, PL/1, and COBOL.
BASM includes a debugger.
In fact BASM includes the ability to do a real-time assemble and link from BASM.
To make the debugger even more powerful, it allows you to step through your code and
make changes in the disassembled code.
BASM allows you to use memory maps, thus allowing you to specify each memory
location and block you want to link to.
