YEAR 2
In Topic, we read the story 'Knights and Dragons Unite' which we enjoyed. After hearing the story twice, Year 2 were able to retell the whole story in their own words! In English, we have moved on to harder spelling words, looking at suffixes, which are added to the end of words. This week we learned how to spell careful, cheerful, delightful... Year 2 are wonderful! Year 2 completed some Maths assessments this week and we will have Reading assessments next week. Everyone is making good progress and impressing us with their results. Many Year 2 students joined us in Playdough club on Tuesday lunchtime and they enjoyed creating interesting designs! Year 2 were a little disappointed with the rainy weather on Friday, so we hope we will have good weather and chance to play outside this weekend! We celebrated Emaan's 7th birthday on Wednesday. Happy Birthday Emaan!
