Virtual Open Day
On Wednesday, we hosted our first Virtual Open Day of this academic year. 45 prospective families signed up for the event which is similar to the number we would normally get for an on-site event and shows our continuing popularity in such difficult circumstances. The panel of heads of Key Stage and SLT presented information about the school and answered questions from parents located all around the world.  This has proved to be a real bonus to the event being online, as we are able to reach out to a global audience with guest families joining from locations such as Mexico and Germany, who would otherwise have been unable to attend. Early indications suggest places are likely to be at an even higher premium next year than previously.  We would normally have included a personal tour of the school with our year 6 ambassadors.  As this wasn't possible in person, our wonderful year 6 students have started to create a virtual tour of the school.  A big thank you to all the panelists for what was a lovely event and especially to Mr Phillips for his work on creating the virtual tour.  We will share this more widely once complete.
