Adobe Lightroom Highly Compressed
images and i am trying to find a tool for removing the compression. I have tried to use photochop(as suggested in similar thread) but for some reason this tool doesnt even recognize my compressed images. Can someone suggest a useful tool that can do this?

If you have been using the free version, you have probably been using the Compact module which includes the LZW and JPEG compression. This module replaces the original Photoshop compressor and the JPEG compression has been integrated into the PSD format.
However, if you want to use the LZW compression, you have to replace the default JPEG compressor with a third-party JPEG compressor and adjust the DPI setting.
The free version also includes the Progressive module, which includes sharpening. This is because many raw developers use the DNG format, which does not have sharpening functionality. If you want sharpening, you have to use a third-party JPEG compressor. There are some open source ones, such as Capture One.
If you want to use only LZW compression, you'll have to pay for the Lightroom Pro version or get a license from a Photoshop reseller, such as Adobe Exchange, iCimator, etc.
Alternatively, you can use the open source GIMP program. It has a lot of third-party plugins for various photo editing. Many people use GIMP to do just the LZW decompression.
