The Show Must Go On! 
We will be performing a play this year! 
For students interested in auditioning for a part in the play, and for students interested in interviewing for a crew position, please read the following:

Auditions will be held February 1 – February 3, 2021 in room 111 or via Zoom. Please use the audition Sign-Up Genius link listed below to reserve an audition time:

Select a monologue to perform for your audition. Choose one monologue to MEMORIZE. Practice your monologue by working on expression, volume, clarity – enunciate your words – and body language, as appropriate. Audition monologues are available on the MCMS school website under the activities – theater tab:

Crew interviews will be held on Thursday February 4, 2021 in room 111 or via Zoom. Please use the crew interview Sign-Up Genius link posted below to reserve your interview time:

Please complete the crew question-and-answer sheet thoughtfully and bring your completed Q & A sheet to your scheduled interview.

Cast and crew selections will be posted on Monday February 8, 2021. The first cast and crew meeting will be after school on Tuesday February 9.

Please note: Students selected for Cast and Crew are expected to follow the rehearsal and crew work schedules and be picked up on time.

Please note: 
Students involved in the play are expected to maintain their academic and disciplinary eligibility. Students should be passing all of their classes, and grades will be checked weekly. All students involved in the play are expected to be the best representatives of Mill Creek Middle School. 
*Play involvement requires a 2.5 month commitment. Students should plan to attend all rehearsals and crew work meetings. 
Cast members are responsible for providing their own costumes. Guidance and ideas for constructing and sourcing costumes. Incidental fees may be necessary to provide accurate costuming effects. 
Please remember, this is a totally different school year! Those involved in the play will be expected to wear masks and socially distance. We will not know the final format we will be able to offer our audiences until closer to our show times.
