Fully customizable, the PSP 2Meters metering plugin can be used with virtually any plugin containing a Metering object. This includes Audio Units on Mac, Audio Units on PC and the Red Giant Suite.
Each PSP 2meter Metering plugin comes with a User Manual that contains comprehensive usage instructions including tutorial videos, customizable parameters, comparisons with other Meters and ideas for your future productions.
Users can directly change the Metering values in the PSP 2meter Metering plugin by selecting a Metering object from the metering curve.
In the metering curve graph, each Metering object (3rd chart) is designed to show a different parameter:
Metering curve: Number of Measurements (measured in seconds, multiplied by the Metering object)
Metering Range: Pick the Metering range from the chart (values from -100 to +100)
Maximum Gain: Turn the Gain up or down to shift the entire graph up or down
Metering Line: Pick the Line colour from the chart (optional)
Bias Meter (PSP PPM or VU)
Metering curves are based on the number of channels being metered.
Currently this plugin will work with three types of metering curves:
PSP PPM
PSP VU
European PPM
Metering curve selection can be customized via the Metering control in the Plugin Designer.
The Metering control can also be used to turn the metering on and off.
