The film's soundtrack was composed by Devi Sri Prasad, while the background score was provided by Rajan-Nagendra. The film marked the Telugu acting debut of Palak Lalwani, whilst this is Shourya's second film with Prasad.
Plot
Rajan and Nagendra are brothers who grew up in an economically well-off family. Rajan marries Sona, a patient and well-mannered girl. Both of them adopt a middle-class lifestyle and lead a happy family life. However, as time passes, Nagendra falls in love with a spoilt girl named Selvi, and wants to marry her. Nagendra approaches his brother Rajan to find a solution for their financial problems, but Rajan tells him that there is no money in the family, and that they will have to earn money for the marriage.
Rajan decides to become an MLA, so that he can earn money easily, but he has to deal with many obstacles in his way. Nagendra, being the family's only support, decides to forge a marriage alliance for his sister with an affluent businessman, but his sister breaks the alliance and marries Rajan. Nagendra tries to get to know Rajan's wife Sona and to get her family to accept him, but Rajan avoids him and keeps his family and wife away from him. Nagendra decides to expose Rajan in front of the media and in an altercation, in which a third person gets killed, they are arrested.
Rajan's wife Sona decides to start a new life, and tries to get close to Nagendra, who is released after serving time in prison. Sona is confused about whether she should go with Nagendra or Rajan, and it is revealed that Nagendra is her biological brother, whom she had never met. Nagendra and Rajan fight, and in the fight Nagendra, whose eyes were blinded in an accident, gets beaten and Rajan chases him and beats him to death.
