Imagick::Quantize won't work for images with variable density
I'm trying to convert uploaded images into less-dense versions.  This works fine for most images.  However, where the density of the original image varies significantly (e.g., an image with a white square in the center surrounded by a "border" of red), Imagick::Quantize fails.  I've tried the color range argument too, but the values outputted are completely the wrong color range.

Tests with this image indicate that Imagick::Quantize correctly converts the red area to white (and does the right thing with the white square), but with the original image, the output is not complete white, and the wrong part of the border is still red.
