After a while she learns that Babu has a girlfriend, a young lady whom he met when he was in the 2nd year of his study. She suddenly meets him on her way to college and they immediately fall in love. Kamna however, does not let this chance go. She plans to bring them together, but Babu does not have any intentions to marry her. After a number of efforts, Kamna feels very upset and leaves Dehra Dun. She goes to Mumbai. Babu follows her to get her back. After a series of incidents, they get to understand each other and are about to marry. They don't have any objections for their parents and get married, with Babu's parents' consent. After the marriage, Babu thinks that he does not want to have a baby. Kamna insists on being pregnant, but Babu does not listen to her. A few months later, after many attempts Kamna gives birth to a baby girl. The mother and child are taken to a nursing home for treatment. Babu learns from his friend that his mother died of shock because she never saw Babu's wife or baby.
Kamna is not happy about the death of her mother, but Babu consoles her and he and his wife get back together. She slowly realizes that Babu is a good man and she is very happy that she got Babu back. They both soon learn that they have a daughter.
