Slight changes to our COVID rules
Since the start of term, Hungarian schools have been operating without any restrictions. We believe that a cautious approach is better at this time and have maintained all of our restrictions since returning, mainly because we knew our families had travelled more widely over the summer. In our review this week, we have decided to make a slight change, which is to make the wearing of masks optional. This could be reversed at any point, should we feel the level of risk is increasing.
A summary is below:
These measures come into force on Monday 13th September 2021
Measures we are keeping in place: ventilation, hand washing and good hygiene, increased cleaning of surfaces in common areas, door handles etc, separate entrances for primary/Secondary, parent entrance to the building by appointment only
Measures we are relaxing: mask wearing will become optional in common areas and outside. Children do not need to wear masks unless they want to.
As before, anybody can wear a mask at anytime and in any place, should they wish to. Thank you for bearing with us over the opening few weeks and we hope that we will not need to reverse this change at any point.
