Write, debug and edit the layout of HTML files in a convenient and powerful way. Want to include a new CSS or JavaScript in a file? Add it easily and without problems.
For example: In this source file "test.html" is a very basic HTML file with only one table and four divs (to test WorkplaceX). Now add a style sheet:
...and save the file. Then insert the style by using the WorkplaceX path and file name:
In the top left corner click the "Add Style Sheet" button.
In the dialogue box:
File: "test.html"
Path: /my_documents/cdo/Test/test.html
Select Style Sheet: /my_documents/cdo/Test/css/basic.css
Hit enter.
Now the style sheet basic.css is added in the file! (see below)
Have your own style sheet in a file in your Site Map? In the top left corner Click "Style Sheet" and in the dialogue box choose the file:
File: /my_documents/cdo/Test/css/basic.css
Then add the Style Sheet.

Additional features are:
Select Folders: Instead of putting all your files in one folder, you can group them in different folders. And WorkplaceX reads them from the folders you chose. It creates different folders depending on your site structure.
Set Theme: WorkplaceX supports a set of predefined themes to use them for all your pages in the same site. It can be very useful to get an idea of your pages without writing any code. You can choose the theme "Set Default" and it becomes available on all pages.
Use as Web Page: WorkplaceX can be used as web page. You can open web pages directly from your browser.
XHMTL4: WorkplaceX reads XHTML files in the file path /my_documents/cdo/Test/xhtml/test.xhtml. It can also read XHTML files from an URL with a "http" in front of the path.
Import CSS: Using the cssImport feature of WorkplaceX, you can import css and xhtml code directly from the
