Dear Parents,
Please take note of the following announcements:

1. Chess Club:

I had the pleasure of visiting the Chess Club this week and was very impressed to watch our chess players carefully planning each move to try and outwit their opponents. We have included in this week's newsletter a few photographs of our chess players in action.

2. Reports:

As announced last week, reports will be emailed to parents on Monday, 27th June. Should you require a printed copy of your child’s report, kindly place a request with his/her class teacher. We will gladly provide you with a printed copy.

3. Sports Day:

Our school’s annual Sports Day will be held on Friday, 24th June. The four houses – Bears, Eagles, Tigers and Wolves – will compete in a variety of novelty races and, afterwards, enjoy a picnic lunch on the playground outside. Please be reminded that pupils are expected to dress in their house t-shirts. If your child doesn’t have a house t-shirt, please contact Ms Julia to check if she has t-shirts of the correct size. Unfortunately, some sizes are no longer available.

4. End-of-term Arrangements:

Final Assembly will be held on Friday, 1st July at which certificates will be awarded to our Stars of the Term and Stars of the Year. Head Teacher Awards will also be presented to three deserving pupils, one in each of the school’s sections: Early Years, Key Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2), and Key Stage 2 (Years 3 to 6).
Kindly note that school will close on Friday, 1st July at 1:00 p.m.
