Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal Pro is a nice app that fulfills all your security needs.
From the first moment you started it up it scanned and gave you a result.
What made us even happier was that it didn't just tell us that we are about to get infected, but also why and what to do.

On the left side you can access all the options that you can change, and here you can also access the event log.
The Status bar shows the name of the active scan, and how many files have been analyzed and found to be infected.
The system performs a full scan, a detailed scan, and scans the critical areas at the time of booting up.
The interface is quite easy to navigate, and gives you information on the status of the processes that are running.
The main screen is a bit crowded with information, but you can easily switch to the active window, which shows your currently active scan and also gives you information on where it thinks the threats come from.
You can also turn off the threats via the drop-down menu, or use the export feature to get rid of all the threats and their information.
We did notice that the program is quite a bit slower on an older computer, but this never slowed us down,

You have the choice of installing it manually or automatically.
To install manually, simply download the setup file as you normally do.
You need to select the destination location, and then click Next.
Your computer needs to have at least 1GB of free space to complete the installation.
Click Install to continue.
If you've already installed Kaspersky Antivirus Personal Pro from your last installation, you can select the installation location.
If you select a new installation, select the destination location.
Kaspersky Kaspersky Antivirus Personal Pro will be installed as the default antivirus program.
To change the default program, you have to do it manually.
From the start menu, select Control Panel -> Program and Features.
Select the Kaspersky security package and click Change/Remove.
