Use the mouse to select the object that you want on the field and hit "Add Object to Field".
Then select the region that you want to use and press the "Add region".
You can deselect the object if you want to remove it from the field.
You can also double click on an object to select it or press "A" on your keyboard.
I would recommend you check out the different objects that you can add to your field (ie players, goals,...), and the zoom effect for the fields.

Add new slide, from image or asset-column in which you want to place your icon, and press "Add icon to slide".
The slider is also great for beginners because it make it easy for them to play with its settings.
I suggest to check the zoom settings in order to have a better overview of your field.
Then you'll be able to focus on your icon.
