Once you have set up the threshold percentage you want to use, you need to create a path. A path is a line drawing that will connect the center point of the image to the corners of the image. The image below shows the result of an Average Color Seeker where the threshold is set to 95%.
3. Run the Average Color Seeker Application
Once the paths are set up and saved, you are ready to go. All you need to do now is find an image that will provide you with a perfect average color. A perfect average color is an image that represents how an image may look when you shoot it.
For example, it may be a color cast image that has a green grass green-blue sky. One problem with this kind of image is that there is no single color. It is a combination of colors. If you were to find the average color in an image like this, it would be the color the camera chose for the sky.
