ROC CONVERSATION: WARRINGTON

A fantastic night in Warrington on March 11th for the ROC Conversation community conversation, with no empty seats despite the threat of the Corona Virus. It was great to be at the Halliwell Jones stadium, home of the Warrington Wolves Rugby club. Guests included Chief of staff for the PCC’s office Peter Astley, Neil Kelly Director of the Warrington Wolves Foundation, Superintendent  Martin Cleworth and Inspector Neil Drum from Cheshire Police, Eleanor Blackburn from Warrington Council, Jo Landstaff Head teacher at Cardinal Newman school and Cllr Jean Flaherty from the St Elphin’s project. Many organisations were represented included Street Pastors, Youth for Christ, CAP, Young Trustees, Warrington Central 6, Cheshire Fire and Rescue services as well as many churches and community organisations. An action group will be formed to take ideas forward and we are delighted that 53 people have signed up, it will be led by Barry and Vicky Cross from Hope Church.
