Dear Parents,
Please take note of the following announcements:

1. Public Holiday:

Please be reminded that Sunday, 12th June is Russia Day and, therefore, Monday, 13th June is a public holiday. School will be closed. Kindly note that Tuesday, 14th and Wednesday, 15th June will be extended days. School will end at 4:00 p.m. on both days.

2. Staying Hydrated – Staying Healthy:

Temperatures have risen significantly in Moscow. Staying hydrated in the warm summer months is very important! Please encourage your child to bring a hat and water bottle to school. Water dispensers are available at school for pupils to keep their water bottled topped up. Children should be reminded of the many health benefits of drinking water, and that staying hydrated helps our brains function properly.

3. Reports:

As announced last week, reports will be emailed to parents on Monday, 27th June. Should you require a printed copy of your child’s report, kindly place a request with his/her class teacher. We will gladly provide you with a printed copy.

4. Sports Day:

Our school’s annual Sports Day will be held on Friday, 24th June. The four houses – Bears, Eagles, Tigers and Wolves – will compete in a variety of novelty races and, afterwards, enjoy a picnic lunch on the playground outside. Please be reminded that pupils are expected to dress in their house t-shirts. If your child doesn’t have a house t-shirt, please contact Ms Julia to check if she has t-shirts of the size your child requires. Unfortunately, some sizes are no longer available.
