Cetina Frontpanel Designer allows you to design front panels for most popular hardware components.
This is not a software that enables you to use your creativity to create an arbitrary front panel.
This is a software that enables you to create a detailed front panel for a given hardware component (a front panel that is compliant to the component standard). The software is first of all a tool that allows you to specify the front panel layout. It then generates the front panel source code, which in turn may then be compiled and the result then installed into the corresponding hardware as standard front panel
You simply select the component that you want to design and an example front panel is then displayed for this component.
This component front panel can then be selected and the layout can be modified. Once you have finished the layout you can save your work as you would do in a drawing application.
After saving the work you can then make your design into a front panel PCB that can then be manufactured as a standard PCB.
